Hello family, friends, and compassionate supporters,

My name is Grier Bowen, My family and I are urgently raising funds to save my brother, Kern Harrison. Two years ago, Kern was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, a rare and aggressive brain cancer typically found in children. He has had 2 major surgeries, the doctors seem to be at an impasse. As a result, we are currently seeking additional help holistically. As the head of his household, Kern is faced with numerous struggles, including painfully watching his wife, Hannah, balance working two jobs while caring for him and their youngest son, Giovanni, who is only 10 years old.

Recently, we noticed facial disfigurement and feared he might be experiencing a stroke. Tragically, we learned that the medulloblastoma has spread to his brain’s frontal lobe, overshadowing the progress he previously made on his healing journey. Despite this, Kern tries to remain a bright light and ususally uplifts any room he enters.

Kern is now a fall risk, his back is curved in a C shape and he unable to maintain his balance and is now in dire need of 24-hour care. This need demands Hannah’s full attention at home to care for him personally. Hannah's need to turn all her attention to care for Kern, creates the need for assistance with daily financial support to cover their monthly expenses. During my own cancer journey, my brother helped carry me. Now, it’s my turn to help carry him.

Our family is doing everything we can to support Kern’s treatments, but we now need urgent assistance to continue his fight. The generosity of those willing to lend a helping hand means the world to us. Any contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to giving Kern the care he needs.
