Help for Kenyan Women & Children

William is one of Kenyan Women & Children's 52 education sponsored children in our town of Ngoswani, Kenya. At only 6 years old he's encountered some serious medical issues, recently he was diagnosed with Nephrotic syndrome which basically indicates his kidneys are not properly functioning. We are thankful for the staff at Tenwek Missionary Hospital where he is being treated which is 4 hours away. They are confident that with 6 months of drug treatment and monthly visits for monitoring and tests his condition will greatly improve and in the best of circumstances be cured. The costs for 6 months of treatments including bus fare for William and his Father comes to $2500. While this is not by US standards a massive medical bill it is in Kenya. Williams family cannot afford to pay for his treatment and will have to forgo medical care without our help. KW&C has already sponsored his many diagnostic tests, consultations and medicines thus far however we need help so that William can continue thru the end of 2018. Friends of KW&C who have been fortunate to met William always remember him as he's truly the sweetest, happiest and caring little 6 year old boy. A donation of any amount is gratefully appreciated, it adds up and brings William closer to leading a healthy happy life and most important getting him back to school. We thank you in advance and will furnish updates on Williams progress.
