I came to bring her home, but the day before our flight, she fainted and experienced a seizure-like episode that caused stiffness on her right side. At the emergency room, we learned she had CVST—a type of stroke—so we couldn’t leave. Since then, her situation has only worsened, with ongoing issues, including a 45-day period, nine fibroids, and now a large cyst on her right ovary, which wasn’t there before.

<div>Steff vino a Colombia para tratarse la endometriosis y le quitaron el ovario izquierdo. Aproximadamente diez días después de la cirugía, desarrolló una infección. Vine para llevarla de vuelta a casa, pero el día antes de nuestro vuelo, se desmayó y tuvo un episodio similar a una convulsión que le causó rigidez en el lado derecho. En la sala de emergencias, nos informaron que había sufrido una trombosis venosa cerebral (CVST), que es un tipo de derrame cerebral, por lo que no pudimos irnos. Desde entonces, su situación ha empeorado, con problemas continuos, incluyendo un sangrado que lleva 45 días, nueve fibromas y ahora un quiste grande en su ovario derecho, que antes no estaba allí.
