My name is Lacee Penix, and I started this GoFundMe for my coworker, Kenny Ackers. We work at an industrial heating and cooling manufacturing plant in Ironton, OH. Kenny, his girlfriend Elizabeth, his daughter, and his mother all occupied the house.

Last Saturday night, before work, Kenny and his wife Elizabeth came home to see their house ablaze. Kenny even kicked in the back door to get his mom out of this horrendous fire.

Everything in the home was a complete loss. They even lost two cars. Can you imagine having everything and then the only thing left is the shirts on your back?
