Help Kenny York receive cancer treatment

Donation protected

Hi everyone—
As many of you know, Kenny is fighting an ongoing battle with esophageal cancer. Though we knew from the start that it might not be a "quick fix," his recovery is taking longer than we hoped. (For more details, see the original post below.) He's had a setback, but since previous CHIPSA treatments helped reduce tumor activity by 80%, both we and the doctors are confident that his condition will improve again. Until he's cancer free, the war against cancer will continue, so it's time for Kenny to return to CHIPSA Hospital on May 14. You might remember that neither insurance nor healthcare sharing will pay for the type of treatment that Kenny receives at CHIPSA, so we're asking you to consider assisting us with the cost. We're about $33,000 away from what we need to ensure he can do the full 3-week session and receive the necessary meds while he's there.
As always, we're incredibly grateful to those who have helped Kenny in the past. You're literally saving his life with your generosity, and we thank you.  XOXOXO
I'll keep you posted!
Vicki

ORIGINAL POST:
Hi, my name is Vicki, and I’m fundraising for my husband and best friend, Kenny York.

Kenny has been diagnosed with cancer and needs aggressive treatment. His doctor is urging him to begin immediately to stop the cancer from spreading. Kenny’s clinic of choice (CHIPSA Hospital) has accepted him for treatment, and there is a room available on June 17, which means we must fly to California on Wednesday, June 16. (Because hospitals in the U.S. do not treat cancer through nutrition, CHIPSA Hospital is just across the border, in Mexico.) To cover initial expenses, we need to raise $50,000 ($10,000 of it by Wednesday).

Those of you who have met Kenny will understand when I say he’s a gift to everyone who knows him. With virtually no resources except faith, he launched Manna Café in 2010, laying down his life for the poor, hungry, and homeless. Today, Manna Café assists more than 20 thousand people a year by distributing 2.5 million pounds of food annually, serving 8 hot meals each week, educating low-income families and culinary arts interns, and sheltering the homeless in the winter. Clarksville needs Kenny York, and now he desperately needs Clarksville.

I’m asking that every person who’s been touched by Kenny’s life to consider giving whatever you can to lift our financial burden so our bills are met and Kenny can get the immediate treatment he needs.

Please pray for supernatural healing and peace over us during this season. We know that God is bigger than cancer, and we’re trusting Him completely. He does not fail! Also, please Share this campaign so we can get the word out as quickly as possible.

Thank you, we love you!
