Support Kenia with Luna's Vet Expenses

Our dear friend Kenia had her world turned upside down. Luna, her 8-year-old German Shepherd, happy, healthy, energetic girl, was suddenly diagnosed with Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA) - a disease where the body attacks its own red blood cells, rapidly destroying them.

As of 9/13, Luna had been hospitalized for several days. The clinic continued to monitor Luna’s condition after 3 blood transfusions, continuous IV fluids, double dosing of steroids, suppressing her immune system, oxygen therapy, and everything possible to keep her comfortable. On 9/14, Kenia stayed by Luna’s side as she crossed the rainbow bridge.

Luna was Kenia’s best friend, her baby, and a member of their family. The last thing she needs to be worrying about at this time of sadness is this huge financial burden.

If you have ever had the pleasure of meeting Kenia, you would know she is the most wonderful, selfless, kind, loving human you could ever encounter. Bad things happen to good people, and this is the perfect example.
