Help Ken Greene smash cancer

For over 30 years Ken Greene has entertained us with his brilliant musicianship in the bars and clubs of Ballarat and beyond. He's made us laugh, and he's made us cry with his renditions of the greatest hits from long ago to now. A massive fan of The Eagles, Ken was always in his element kicking off a show with Take It To The Limit and when he wanted the liven things up, would strike that familiar strum pattern, step forward to the mic, and sing...Well I'm a-runnin' down the road try'n to loosen my load I've got seven women on my mind...Somewhere in the set he'd throw in Duelling Banjos for a laugh, and if he wanted the crowd to sing along would draw on some old favourites like Wish You Were Here or Run To Paradise. One thing for sure, if you asked for a song, he'd give it a go. So many great memories!

Since his original diagnosis in 2017, and in spite of radiation, chemo, and numerous surgeries, Ken's cancer has now invaded his lungs, spine and ribs. He received this devastating news just this week. He started a new form of treatment recently but has not been well. Because this treatment is so tough on the body further treatment has been put on hold until he is well enough. The radiation and chemo has left him without saliva and his weight has fallen to below 60kg. He's in constant pain and is currently in hospital where his medical team are trying to stabilise him sufficiently to resume treatment for the cancer.

Whilst we cannot do much in terms of the cancer, we can help Ken & Angelique financially so that they have one less thing to worry about. In short, Ken has no income and needs our help.
