Help Ken fight Cancer & Pulmonary Hypertension

Many of you may know Ken Dubuc from his over 20 years of service to the St. Therese Parish and St. Therese Athletic Club. Ken served the Club as Treasurer, VP, President, he also ran the Mustang Classic basketball tournament for 14 years, and ran the Men's Stag for the same length of time. He also worked at every parish function.
Ken has also served as Secretary for the Campbell County Youth Soccer League (CCYSL) for almost 20 years, and also served as Club President for the past 2 years.
He coached soccer through CCYSL and basketball through St. Therese for 20 years. He also refereed soccer through CCYSL, various select clubs, and at the high school level.
Ken also helped open Body Dynamics heath club in Alexandria, and was the General Manager there as well.
In 2017, Ken was diagnosed with Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PH), which is a rare and incurable heart and lung disease. PH greatly affects the heart's ability to supply oxygenated blood to the body.
Ken has to take (expensive) medications to help manage the symptoms of PH, in addition to constant monitoring and frequent procedures and tests.
Trying to work full time with constant fatigue, nausea, diarrhea, migraine headaches, jaw pain, foot pain, etc. has been quite difficult.
In November of 2018, a biopsy revealed that Ken has some form of cancer. While the results of additional biopsies are still pending, the leading thought is that Ken may have T-cell or N/K cell lymphoma.
Having cancer along with an incurable heart/lung disease is going to present Ken with unimaginable challenges. The side effects from his PH drug therapies are quite intense, when added to the side effects from chemo &/or radiation, Ken will certainly suffer even moreso each day.
For most of Ken's adult life, he selflessly donated much of his time to the children of the county through his involvement with St. Therese and the Campbell County Youth Soccer League.
We are asking that you help Ken by donating to this fund raiser so that he can pay medical bills and other expenses.
