Hi, my name is Keira. On the morning of September 27th, I experienced a life-threatening situation when a tree crashed through my house, pinning me under the ceiling, the tree, and my bed. Thankfully, I managed to free myself, but my home is now completely destroyed. While I know material possessions can be replaced, I am incredibly grateful to be alive, walking away with only a scratch on my forehead and some bruises. However, I now find myself starting over from nothing. I’ve reached out to various organizations for help, but many are overwhelmed at the moment. If you’re able to provide any assistance, it would mean the world to me. My kids and I lost our home, along with all our clothes, shoes, and belongings due to the extensive damage. I’m doing my best to stay strong for my children, but this has been an incredibly difficult time.
