Help Kehlani with her spine surgery

Hi, my name is Satira Scheele. I was recently in a car accident and my dog Kehlani was in the car with me. While I suffered minor injuries, Kehlani was searched for, for almost a day and was found by the K-state vet. She has to get spine and hip surgery because she fractured bones in those areas. The staff said they are willing to do a compassion fund and that can possibly cover up to half of the expenses if I get help with the rest. Without this surgery, she will not be able to fully recover regarding using both her back legs and she may have to be put down. Any help would be appreciated as we go through this tough time. Update: Kehlani is at home with me for now. She is bedridden and in total care. For now she is taking pain meds and I’ve started taking her to acupuncture appointments to help her heal until the money is raised for her surgery. Thank you to everyone in advance!

Side note: I lowered the amount needed since I got approved for the compassion grant at the hospital where she will be getting her surgery.

UPDATE: Kehlani no longer needs surgery! Her vet said she had made such good progress that it’s no longer necessary. Donations will go directly to her outstanding medial bills from her appointments and ER visits. She is continuing her acupuncture appointments so the donations will also go towards those.
