Help keep this immigrant health clinic open!

I'm privileged to have been accepted as a physician volunteer at the La Frontera shelter and clinic in Laredo, Texas. I will be providing screening medical exams for immigrants as they are released from the shelter after having been detained by Customs and Border Patrol. 

The shelter and clinic have received many donations of supplies, but they have an ongoing need for money to pay for electricity, water and maintenance of the facilites as well as to fund housing for volunteers who come work at the shelter and clinic. 

We have all seen and heard the stories about the trauma these immigrants face during this process. While we are all working to change and improve the immigration process, we must also support the amazing work that these facilities provide in these times of need.
