<div>But like many small, local businesses, especially minority-owned ones, the shop has been hit hard. Business has slowed down so much that <strong>he’s now facing the painful possibility of shutting his doors after nearly a quarter-century of serving others.</strong>

<div>He has always been the kind of person who gives more than he takes. As a Black business owner, he has worked twice as hard to earn trust and build a name — and he’s done it the right way. He even hired people others overlooked, including immigrants working to provide for their families. When one of his long-time employees was recently detained, he stepped up to support their family like his own.
