<div>Hola. Somos parte de una comunidad ecuatoriana. Debido a la difícil situación que atravesamos como familias migrantes, estamos pidiendo apoyo a la comunidad para reunir fondos destinados a renta y alimentos. Muchas familias tienen miedo de salir a trabajar o incluso a comprar comida por temor a ser detenidas.

<div>Lo que comenzó como ayuda para unas pocas familias ha crecido enormemente. Actualmente estamos recaudando fondos para apoyar a 14 familias, y el número sigue creciendo.

<div>A continuación compartimos algunas de las historias de las familias que estamos apoyando. Todas son familias ecuatorianas.

<li><strong>Familia de 4 personas con dos niños: una niña de 7 años y un niño de 2 años con una enfermedad crónica</strong>. La madre tuvo que dejar su trabajo para cuidar a los niños. El padre solo puede trabajar de manera limitada.

<div><strong><em>Actualización:</em> </strong>El padre fue detenido durante una cita migratoria el 23 de enero. No tiene antecedentes penales y no se ha brindado información sobre su paradero. La familia atraviesa una situación de gran dificultad y solicita apoyo económico para afrontar una posible fianza y los pagos de renta que se aproximan.

<li><strong>Familia de 3 personas con un bebé de 6 meses y un niño de 8 años</strong>. El padre fue detenido recientemente y la madre no puede salir a trabajar por miedo. Necesitan apoyo con alimentos, pañales y renta.

<li><strong>Madre soltera con una niña de 5 años,</strong> que atraviesa esta misma situación de miedo e incertidumbre.

<li><strong>Otra familia con 2 niños, con un niño de 6 años y una niña de 10 años</strong>. Enfrentan problemas económicos y dificultad para conseguir alimentos. El padre tuvo que dejar su trabajo por miedo tras detenciones recientes, y actualmente solo la madre puede trabajar algunos días de forma limitada.

<div>Hello. We are part of the Ecuadorian community. Due to the difficult situation we are facing as migrant families, we are asking for support from the community to help raise funds for rent and food. Many families are afraid to go to work or even buy groceries due to fear of being detained.
</div>

<div>What began as help for a few families has grown significantly. We are now raising funds to support 14 families, and the number continues to grow.
</div>

<div>Below are some of the stories of the families we are currently supporting. All of the families are Ecuadorian.

<li><strong>A family of four with two children: a 7-year-old child and a 2-year-old child with a chronic illness. </strong>The mother had to leave her job to care for the children. The father is only able to work limited hours.

<div><strong><em>Update: </em></strong>The father was detained during an immigration appointment on January 23. He has no criminal record, and we have been given no information yet regarding his current whereabouts. The family continues to face severe hardship following his detention, and is desperately seeking financial help to afford the father’s potential bail and upcoming rent payments.
