Help Keep Saint John's Bells Ringing

The bells of St John's arrived in Nanticoke Pennsylvania by train in 1899, and were transported to the church by horse drawn wagon. The Bells were cast that same year by C. S. Bell Foundry in Hillsboro, Ohio and have been ringing out ever since. The health, integrity of these bells are in need of maintenance. The cast bells of many churches of Nanticoke Pennsylvania rang out to the community with the Angelus Prayer call 3 times daily. Sadly, out of 8 churches that did so St John's is currently one of two remaining, and the only church to do so by hand. We are a small congregation and do not wish our tower to fall silent to tradition and the beauty of hearing the bells echo off the mountains. Your thoughtful gift and generosity are appreciated.
