For 25 seasons Wavestage Theatre Company has brought fabulous theatre to stage. This Saturday April 4 was to be our gala celebrating the more than 3,000 performers who have sung and danced on our stage (now postponed to November). Instead, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are hosting a live virtual concert at 7pm to help offset the multiple losses we have endured due to this world crisis. Two major productions have been postponed with countless financial losses.
HOW YOUR DONATION HELPS
Your donation would help keep our rescheduled productions alive in their new slots instead of having to cancel them outright. Your support would aid in our licensing fees (USD), rehearsal space fees, performance venue fees and countless other production costs. It would help us continue to produce shows of high technical quality by allowing us to continue renting our set building space, purchase materials for sets and props and rent orchestra-quality performance tracks. It would also support our arts education programs, which aim to give a triple threat education to the next generation of theatre artists.

For 25 thrilling seasons, we’ve accessibly provided over 118 high quality theatrical performances to audiences throughout the Greater Toronto Area. We aim to offer performance opportunities to performers of all ages and levels of experience. Since our first season, over 3,000 people have performed with Wavestage Theatre Company. We hold open auditions for company members every season and accept private audition requests throughout the year. Our educational mandate includes workshops and triple-threat training programs to educate and nurture the next generation of theatre artists.
