Help keep Alana where she belongs meaning:
Alana unfortunately lost her mom at the age of 10 months old, where they were living with me (the aunt) of Alana in Michigan since she was 3 months old. Alana has her mom’s entire family support system here in Michigan. She’s very intelligent and well taking care of here in Michigan. I not once have received any help from the father. She’s in daycare, and in school right now at the age of 1. She will be 2 on Feb 07. December 6th 2019 the mom unfortunately passed away and I took her in with no hesitation. It’s been a long year of fighting cases at court for Alana with no attorney but with family and friends by my side. I won full guardianship back in February, and I am now fighting a custody case against me for Alana. Me or my family is in no way trying to keep him, or his family out of her life, but if he gets her we may never see her again. Unfortunately, the father went after Alana after child support contacted him. Alana needs to stay where she is loved unconditional. Alana has her own room here, fully furnished. I want to make sure some of the things her mom wanted for her, still be insulted. I will make sure she know who her mother was. I am now here asking for help for court fees. We are in need of an family law attorney. I have spoke to someone who is willing to help but can become very expensive depending on the length of court dates we have. The amount I am asking for will at least help to get the case looked at and started from the attorney. I am not asking for much, even just $1, $2, $3 would help. Anything is helpful. We have court on the 17th of December 2020. Let’s keep Alana where she belongs.
