<div>My name is Dev Srinivasan, and I am a Clinical Oncologist working in the NHS in the UK. Every week I sit with patients and their families to discuss complex cancer treatment options, often involving the Cancer Drugs Fund (CDF). The CDF list changes frequently, and keeping up‑to‑date at the point of care is both crucial and difficult.

<div>To make this easier for frontline teams, I building a small mobile app called **CDF Viewer** in my own time. It lets clinicians quickly search the National Cancer Drugs Fund list, see what has changed between versions, and find the right entry while sitting in clinic or on the ward – without needing to wrestle with PDFs on a tiny screen.

<div>I am deliberately trying to keep the app **free** so that any oncology team, pharmacist or trainee can use it, regardless of their personal finances or hospital budget. However, maintaining it is not free. Each update involves:
</div>
<div>- Downloading and cleaning the new national CDF list
</div>
<div>- Updating and testing the code for both iOS and Android
</div>
<div>- Paying for developer accounts, hosting and build tools
</div>
<div>- Responding to feedback and fixing issues so it remains safe and reliable
</div>

<div>At the moment I fund all of this myself from my NHS salary and late‑night coding sessions. I have realised that moving to a subscription model would make the app less accessible, especially for trainees and colleagues in smaller centres. I would much rather keep CDF Viewer completely free and supported by people who believe in better tools for cancer care.

<div>I am asking for help to cover at least the next **12–24 months** of running and development costs, including:
</div>
<div>- Apple and Google developer fees
</div>
<div>- Hosting, build and monitoring services
</div>
<div>- Time to keep the CDF data current and to add small but important features (for example, better search, offline use, and clearer change‑tracking between versions)

<div>Even a small contribution will directly support clinicians who are trying to give patients the best possible, evidence‑based treatment options in very pressured circumstances. If we exceed the target, I will use the extra to:

<div>- Create more apps to be of use for the Oncology community
</div>
<div>- Improve accessibility and performance for older devices
</div>
<div>- Keep the app free for as long as possible
