We are reaching out for help to keep our restaurant open!
We started our restaurant along with the beginning of Covid restrictions. Our grand opening was planned for March 15th 2020, the same week Colorado restaurants were closed down. A & K's Place was able to open April 2nd for take out. We started with barely any capital, just what we were able to save while still paying bills. We have worked our hardest to keep our restaurant open since then and have had great feedback. Everyone loves our food and the atmosphere we have created.
We have definitely struggled to stay open. We are in our second shut down now due to Covid and we haven't even been open a full year. We were just starting to climb our way out of the debt caused by the first shut down when we were shut down to take out again. They say the first year is the hardest but this is crazy. Now we are in jeopardy of having to shut our doors for good. We do not qualify for any covid related loan or grant that is out there so far due to us being a new business. (No proof of loss of revenue from 2019-2020)
We are reaching out to the public for help. Aside from covid, serving everyone has been a dream come true. What we are asking for is just enough to keep the building open to ensure we will be here for years to come.
Our passion is our customers. We love chatting with each and every person that walks through our doors. We want to give every person that eats at our home the best experience possible.
We can't thank everyone enough that has been in and shared a story with us and helped support our small business. You all are heros in our hearts as well as all to come, thank you all for your support through these trying times.
