<div>In April 2024, Keegans life was upended when he received an unexpected diagnosis that both of his kidneys had failed and was rushed to the hospital for an immediate blood transfusion. That day he began his life saving dialysis journey, with each session lasting 4 1/2 hours. His official diagnosis in End State Renal Disease.

<div>Keegan is courageously navigating an uncertain future and is currently on the transplant list, hoping for a donor. Once identified, his transplant will take place at the Swedish Hospital in Seattle, WA.

<div>Deciding to be a living donor is a life saving gift but also a major commitment. Many people do not realize that you need to be medically qualified to donate a kidney. A kidney from a live donor not only allows the recipient to undergo a transplant sooner, but also typically lasts longer that kidneys from a deceased donor.

<div>Keegan has A blood type. There is also an option to do a "Kidney Swap" known as a Kidney Paired Exchange Program. All costs incurred by the donor are covered by Keegan's insurance plan.
