Help Kaye Reunite With Her Family!

Donation protected
My wife, Kaye, moved to California from Nashville many years ago to escape an abusive marriage.  She packed up her two girls and drove as far as she could - to the Pacific Ocean.  There, she built a life, raised her daughters, and many years later, met and married me.

Now, the daughters are grown and live in Arkansas and Tennessee.  Kaye is 70.  Her last surviving brother died a couple weeks ago, and it hit her hard that she couldn't attend the funeral.  Kaye has sisters, cousins and children she hasn't seen in over 20 years.  She has great-grandchildren she has never seen.  Her greatest wish is to make a trip back to see her family.

I want to raise $2,000 for her to take that trip.  Kaye is disabled and will need special care on her flights.  I want her to have her hair and nails done and to have a few new outfits.  I want her to be able to cover expenses and not to have to worry about money while she's on what will probably be her last trip back to where she grew up.  If any money is left over, it'll be used to catch up on our bills.  We need this money by the end of August, 2017.

We are elderly and live on Social Security.  There's no way we can afford for her to make this trip - but it would mean so much to her!  And it would mean so much to me to be able to give her this.

Kaye's health is failing.  She won't be able to contemplate a trip like this for much longer.  Kaye has spent her life helping others.  She was once an aide to the governor of Tennessee.  She was friends with Roy Orbison and was riding motorcycles with him and his wife on the day she was killed.  She knew people like Dolly Parton and Porter Waggoner.  Now, we are just a couple of old folks living in a trailer park in Modesto, California.  Help me send her back for this last trip to her roots!  Help me help her hold her great-granchildren.  If I could give my wife this one thing, I'd be happy for the rest of my life.

I don't want anything for myself.  I just want to give my sweet wife the one thing that would mean more than anything else in these last years of our lives.  I'm saving too, because I want her to have the memory of it.  But with car repairs, medical expenses, soaring utilities and groceries, it's pretty hard to save at all.  It's hard for me to put this out there - I'm always the one who's saying, "I got this."   But I need some help with this one.
