<div>Making records and releasing them is an expensive undertaking. The songs are written, the band is working hard, the producer is in place, and all that's left is raising the funds to make it happen.

<div>Please don't read this as a donation request. Yes, I am asking for your money but this is a pre-sale project.

<div>I decided to try this as a Go Fund Me rather than a Kickstarter so that people can donate at any time. I plan to keep this fundraiser going for as long as it takes us to complete the record.

<div>Unlike Kickstarter this is not an all or nothing platform, so the record WILL be made by doing what I already do; which is work really hard to pay my own costs out of what I earn by playing live. This past month alone I have played 14 live shows while balancing my day job.

<div>Asking for help is never easy and there are so many worthy causes on this platform that deserve support, but I hope that if you enjoy what I do then you can help relieve some of the financial burden off of me.

<div>I have been performing original melodic folk pop for over 25 years in the Twin Cities and in the UK. Hopefully if you are reading this you are familiar with my music. If not then I encourage you to check it out either streaming on all major platforms, or if you are able to then come and see me perform live.

<div>This new project builds upon my catchy songwriting and turns everything up to 11! This almost exclusively female powered rock band performs bold and exciting songs with a feminist and timeless approach. Taking on the old boys music club and having fun with it. Favourite Girl will have you dancing, singing, and leaving audiences feeling empowered to be their truest selves.

<div>I feel like these upbeat and feisty anthems are the truest I have been so far to myself on stage. No longer the sad quiet girl who was too scared to even talk between songs, I am now a seasoned and emboldened performer. I'm excited to share these new songs with you all.

<div>We have already recorded our debut single 'Favourite Girl' so you can hear what we sound like. Hopefully you are enjoying that by the time you see this crowdfunding ask.
