 Today I met Bre &amp; Austin's family at Walmart.

 I asked if the money on the ground belonged to them. Even though they could have easily claimed it, they chose to tell the truth and said it wasn't theirs.

<div>
 To reward their honesty, we gave them $1,000.

<div>
 They broke down in tears as they shared their story.

 Their daughter, Katie, has terminal brain cancer and has been given only a few months to live. <strong>The family has spent everything they had trying to save her, and the financial burden has been overwhelming.</strong> They're currently homeless and have lived in tents and hotels just trying to survive. <strong>The cost of treatment is hundreds of thousands of dollars, and they're desperately trying to keep fighting while searching for stable housing and shelter.</strong>

<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 And yet, even in the middle of all that heartbreak, they still chose honesty.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 A family like this shouldn't have to carry this burden alone. Let's rally around them to help Katie continue her fight against cancer and give this courageous family a safe place to call home.
