Help Laidir Iris continue on the road to recovery!

Hi everyone!

My name is Kathy Metcalf and those that know me well would describe me as self-reliant, supportive of others, and a great friend to both humans and especially my dogs.

I never ask for help but circumstances with one of my puppies has forced me to reach out to family, friends, fellow dog owners, and AnamCara owners.

Currently, I have a puppy that needs emergency surgery to correct a life-threatening condition called diaphragmatic hernia that has caused one of her lungs to collapse.

She is a trooper, very strong in body and spirit. She definitely has the will to live! She wants to play and interact with both her humans and her siblings.

Unfortunately, she has spent the last week during the day at Kindred Spirits and nights at the Brewer Emergency Vet Clinic on rest and oxygen waiting for surgery.

Surgery is scheduled for tomorrow in Scarborough.

I hate to say, but my funds are extremely low. This puppy deserves a fighting chance at a happy life and I am throwing myself out there for help in any way you can.

Please help me help her! Any donations you can make, no matter the size, will be SO appreciated!

I want to give her the chance to be someone’s AnamCara!
