Help Kathleen and Amanda get a van

Kathleen is a caring and devoted mother to Amanda who suffers from profound disabilities related to cerebral palsy. Due to severe trauma at birth, Amanda has spent her entire life wheel chair bound with limited cognitive ability and requiring very extensive care on a daily basis to sustain her. At birth Kathleen was told Amanda wouldn't make it more than a few months but today she is 43 years old and counting. In addition to having a tracheotomy that requires regular cleaning, Amanda is fed intervenously and must be changed, showered and cared for around the clock. Kathleen is Amanda's full-time caretaker and has devoted her entire life to her daughter. She has been unable to work since Amanda was born due to the level of care needed. Kathleen's husband, Stephen was also a major help to her in caring for Amanda but when he suddenly and unexpectedly passed away in November of 2014 , Kathleen no longer had any type of help aside from some assistance from family members who would allow her to leave her home to run errands and watch Amanda for an hour or so. Kathleen never complains and her love for Amanda is apparent in everything she does. She would never ask for help, so I am asking on her behalf. Her wheel chair van has an inoperable ramp which would cost thousands to repair. These wheelchair accessible vans are not cheap and Kathleen lives on a fixed income and cannot afford to repair it herself. Thus she is reliant on medical cabs to transport Amanda to doctor's appointments but is otherwise housebound the rest of the time. If anyone deserves a miracle, it is Kathleen. She is kind and unselfish and is currently saving up for this van on her own, meanwhile neglecting imparitive renovations to her home and her own personal needs. It would be amazing if people could show their support to Amanda and her mom, Kathleen and give them the gift of freedom. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
