Help Katelynn's Family During Her Recovery

As many of you’ve seen, the Horne family has been in Bham at Children’s of Alabama for a week now. They took their precious daughter Katelynn in for a spinal cord surgery that was going to help relieve pain and other side effects she’d been dealing with. Post surgery- she developed bacterial pneumonia (it’s a small complication that can happen during surgery and one unfortunately she got). This has caused some setbacks in post-op treatment plan for her surgery. She’s been moved to the PICU (pediatric intensive care unit) to monitor her breathing more closely and is on high flow oxygen. At this time, we’re unsure of how long they’ll be inpatient but it could be weeks. She’ll need to start therapy as soon as her lungs have recovered from pneumonia. Many many people have asked how they can help this sweet family.
