Hi everyone! We need your help in raising funds to help Katelyn Morales (Howell/Point Pleasant, NJ) during her fight against cancer.  

At 14 years old, Kate was recently diagnosed with T-Cell Lymphoma that has quickly spread to multiple parts of her body. Doctors say her form of cancer is rare, which took months to diagnose and is very difficult to treat. She has been receiving radiation, chemotherapy treatments, blood transfusions (and the list goes on). She’s also suffered a series of set backs, including countless side effects from the treatment and impaired ability to walk (as a tumor is pressing on her spinal cord).  So, in addition to treatment she needs intense physical rehabilitation. She has been an inpatient at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) since mid-June and there is no sign that she is coming home anytime soon.

Kate was looking forward to starting high school and her joy in life has always been soccer, track, and spending time with her family and friends, but now she must focus on getting better, which is going to be an ongoing and difficult battle. Her treatment will be a 2-year long and very expensive journey. 

Katelyn’s family has been by her side every second. 

Her parents are doing their best to take care of Kate at CHOP, and her siblings Madison and Taylor who are at home with their dad. Her mother, Tabatha, is no longer able to work as caring for Kate has become a 24/7 role. Without the ability to work, all of her bills and expenses are piling up.
