<div>As you may have gathered, this has been an unbelievably challenging year for Kate. After almost losing her leg and several months of rehabilitation, all the hardware used was causing pains/problems, and the bones healed crooked.
</div>
<div>Kate just had to undergo an intense corrective surgery, in which hardware was removed, the bones surgically broken and realigned, and then set with donor bone and a plate with screws. She is non-weightbearing 8-12 weeks and will be out of commission likely until the start of 2025.

<div>Kate needs our help and has been working very hard towards her goals but this is a new and major set back. Help if you can or send your love. She is so grateful for all of the donations and help from the first surgery. She could also use any advice or information on remote work if anyone knows of any jobs while immobile.
