This is Kate Fago's Girl Gang...Valerie, Kim, Beth, Jodi, &amp; Annie. 
 
As many of you know we haven't seen Kate's smiling face behind the bar at the Parrot for a few months. 

Kate had a partial hysterectomy in April due to a large mass in her uterus. The mass was found to be cancerous and she was diagnosed with Endometrial Stormal Sarcoma, a rare cancer of the uterus. It was determined that she needed a second surgery to remove her cervix and ovaries. The second surgery was in June. Thankfully all cancer was removed without further treatment. Now her journey continues by seeing a gynecologic oncologist two times a year for the next 5 years to be sure the cancer doesn't return. There is a significant amount that her insurance is not covering, not to mention the 4 months out of work. She has also had to travel back and forth to Miami which adds to her expenses with travel and lodging expenses. 

Kate has been a part of our community for a very long time. She is always the first person to offer help when someone needs it. Now she needs our help. Please donate what you can and share this so others can to.
