Kat's Hospital/Specialist Expenses

Donation protected
Please Help My Daughter, Katrina Decker, an Army vet, to Pay Her Medical Bills, upcoming spinal tap and brain scans, and to Assist her to see a Non-Vet Specialist who will be able to diagnose her Condition.

My daughter, Kat, had a horrible medical setback on May 30, 2017, though we didn't know how serious it was until June 4, 2017, the 5th day after their return from their 10-day outing in the woods.  At that time, I got a call from Julz saying that Kat's brain had stopped functioning. Before I arrived at the hospital, I received more information that Kat had some type of white matter disease. That is something people in their 70s get but Katrina is only 41 years old.

Arriving at the hospital,  I almost broke down when I saw my daughter. Her body was twitching on its own. Her speech is also affected and her words are affected by blips and she is having difficulty forming her words and having her mind communicate with her mouth to get her words out to say the words that she wanted to say in the right order.

She lost her ability to walk without a medical belt  and eventually a staff.  Now, she can walk without the aids for the most part, but still veers to the right and is very off balance. Even now, months after she has left the last hospital, she still needs a lot of assistance to get around.

St. David’s Medical Center released her to go to the Veteran’s Hospital since she is an Army veteran. There she learned that there was one doctor who might be able to help her. However, their system is a rotating system and she gets whatever doctor is on duty when her appointment became available. However, none of these doctors’ could help her and her condition was the same as on day one.

She is still facing more tests, a spinal tap and brain scans are on the list. As of today, her doctor’s bills have accumulated, she lost her job as a realtor because she can’t drive anymore and can’t walk well and can’t speak well.

She had to move out of her house because she can no longer pay the mortgage, utilities, and other expenses that are a general fact of life.

Right now, I am reaching out to family, friends, associates, concerned people, and others to donate funds to assist in paying for her medical bills and living expenses since she will not be able to work until she can walk and talk better. Any assistance that you can give will be blessed by God Himself; as you give, He will give to you.

I thank you in advance for your generous blessings to Kat. Thank You! And God bless you!
