Help Karim go to school and support his family

Help an aspiring student get the funds he needs for school so he can move to Canada and support his family back home

Hi my name is Jenna and I am fundraising for my friend, Karim.

Karim is a wonderful friend, son, brother, and uncle to two adorable kids. His family is his world, and their safety is his priority. He is the type of person who would drop anything to help a friend. Even when he is going through a crisis himself, he will selflessly be there for his friends.

Karim is doing everything he can to support his family. Due to a tragic event outside of their control, his family was forced to give their life savings away. His school money had to be used to save his family from this tragedy. (For the safety and protection of his family, we cannot share all the details of this event).

If it wasn't for this unfortunate event, Karim would have been able to pay his college tuition fees. He has already been conditionally accepted into school, and he is hoping he can move to Canada in October. But time is running out. And any delays in the process will set him back months or more likely years, delaying when he can start his life and support his family back home. Every month gets more precarious financially for his family.

Jobs are few and far between in his home country, and there is a severe lack of opportunities. Please support this aspiring student to move to Canada to complete his schooling and become an engineer to support his family.

We realize this is a tough time for many, and it is not easy asking for help. Karim was hesitant to accept help from others, as he wanted to support his family on his own. But with the limited opportunities in his home country, and this unfortunate event that impacted his family financially, we are asking for support from the greater community. Any support will be greatly appreciated, and any funds received will go directly to his college tuition fees (which total $7,853 CAD) so he can start his career in Canada support his family back home.
