<div>As many of you know, my sister Kari Witry died yesterday, July 21. She had been ill for years and unable to work and was living on a very small disability/Medicaid stipend. Her kids helped as much as possible, but none of them are in great financial situations either. We were given a prognosis of three months but she only lived another two weeks so there was no time to get our feet under us. <strong>There is no life insurance and no arrangements had been made for her death.</strong> The kids are pooling their resources and trying their best but seem to be coming up short at every corner.

<div>The kids are working hard to honor their mother, and I’m so proud of them. We are working on setting up a celebration of life in mid-August, and I will share that information when we get it finalized.
