Help Karen Smith ❤️

My friend Karen and her son William need help. It is not easy for Karen to ask for help as she is responsible, independent and always positive. Karen is that mom who would do anything for her children and most anything for her friends. Heck, I've seen Karen help complete strangers when most wouldn't even look their way.

Unfortunately, Karen's husband has abandoned their family and left her with a mountain of debt- including foreclosure on their home. On top of that issue, his own son that she has helped raise since he was an infant has been abused by him. He took his son and refused to let Karen see him and during that time physically abused the 13 year old. His father put him in harms way by drinking and driving- crashing into William's bedroom wall, as well. CPS had been involved and William finally ran away. From his own father.

Karen has already filed for divorce but is now trying to obtain custody of William. Because of the unforeseen abandonment, unpaid bills, and divorce attorney fees, Karen is completely strapped for money. Karen just moved into an apartment with her three other kids and now has William who came to her with nothing.

The attorney needs an additional $2500 to file the case in court for her to obtain temporary custody. No one wants to see the child go into CPS or back into his fathers harmful parenting. I am trying to raise 3k to help get some clothes and things for William as well.

Karen has three other children and a full time job plus multiple part time jobs. She is trying her hardest. She wouldn't ask for help but I insisted. I don't know anyone more caring that Karen. Please help her family. Please help William, a 13 year old boy who doesn't have anyone but Karen.
