Help Karen and Michael during this difficult time

Hi my name is Katie.

My uncle Duane is currently in the hospital not doing well. Severe pneumonia has left him oxygen starved, damaged his heart and taken his ability to even swallow. He’s been given a feeding tube, but at 54 yrs old, is down to 79lbs. Doctors are discontinuing life saving care today.

Duane is a family man. His wife of 26 years, Karen, is Type 1 diabetic with many complications and has been on disability for some time. Duane’s adopted son Michael, now 26, has had developmental delays since birth.

Duane has always been the main care giver for his family. My Aunt Karen and cousin Michael are beside themselves at the thought of a life without him and life’s situations falling now on Karen’s shoulders.

Mother and son are not financially stable and could really use help with medical expenses, living expenses & costs that come with a funeral.

Can you help give them room to breath and be able to grieve after the passing of my uncle?
