<div>Hi everyone — my name is Kara, and I’m reaching out with a humble heart asking for help during an incredibly difficult time.

<div>I recently had to leave an abusive situation with little warning, taking only what I could — and most importantly, my sweet 6-year-old German Shepherd, Dutchess. She’s not just my dog — she’s my family, my comfort, and the reason I keep going.

<div>We’re waiting for our new apartment to be ready — the management says it could be a week or two — but until then, we have no safe place to stay. Most shelters and temporary housing options won’t take dogs, and leaving Dutchess behind simply isn’t an option.

<div>Right now, we’re staying in a hotel, but we’re out of funds and due to check out tomorrow. I’ve exhausted my savings just to keep a roof over our heads these past days. I’m asking for any support — no amount is too small — to help cover a few more nights until our new home is ready.
