Help Kang Gyun's burn surgery

We are raising money for a dear friend's niece who was badly burned a year ago. Kang Gyun's aunt teaches our girls language and has been a true friend to us and others.
Kang Gyun is now two. She will need surgery and skin grafts. Right now she is in pain and her mobility is very limited. If she does not get surgery, her future possibilities will also be limited due to the norms of her society.
Because of the location of her remote Himalayan town, we have talked to a skilled surgeon at the Red Cross hospital in a neighboring province who can do the surgery. The hospital is a 20 hr train ride away. There are not qualified doctors in our province.
We are trying to help Kang Gyun's family who are farmers with four other children. Kang Gyun's aunt and uncle will also help but as they have two children of their own, we'd like to help remove some of the burden from both families.
