Help Kandy Fight A Deadly Disease

In 1969, Kandy was diagnosed with Crohn's disease, fighting a health battle for 50 years.  She has faced numerous hospitalizations and fifty-seven surgeries.  Multiple times she has fought sepsis and courageously fought back after receiving last rights 6 different times.  She now lives life with less than 2 feet of her small intestine and no colon.  Her biggest struggle today is obtaining a life saving medication which has a high out of pocket expense as well as mandatory hospitalization in order to receive the medication.  This must occur every two months.  Kandy lives alone with her rescue dog, Lucille.  The loves of her life are her two grandchildren, Jacoby and Gus.  Her son Kevin and wife, Jamie, are  extremely supportive and have been there for her numerous times to help her in her times of need.  Kandy is now fighting the biggest battle of her life and has proven herself to be tough and resilient, but she needs help.  Please open your hearts and contribute what you can, so that Kandy can live a life where she can play with her grandchildren and be with her loving family.  Please share with everyone in your personal networks to spread the word.  We could ask you to give until it hurts.  For Kandy's sake, we need you to give until it stops hurting.  God bless.
