Kamalakkannan and his family need your help.

This fundraiser is for our dear friend Kamalakannan Jayaraman (44).

It was just another evening walk and bike ride with his family. Fate intervened and Kamal is now fighting for his life after meeting with a freak accident during that bike ride. He is now in critical condition with a fractured neck and brain injury with blood clots among other injuries. He is being treated at Mercy hospital, currently in an induced coma and under close observation in the ICU.

Kamal is known to be a friendly and kind-hearted person, who is always willing to lend a helping hand. He has a beautiful and supportive family. His wife DhanaLakshmi is a homemaker and pillar of strength at this critical time. His wonderful kids Lakshman(10) and Janani(14) are missing their father and are anxiously waiting for him to come back home.

Being the sole breadwinner of his family, Kamal is extremely hard working and handles his duties as a family man responsibly. He and his family recently fulfilled their long cherished dream of owning a home. He also supports his parents back in India as he is their only son. He is currently working for Bayer as a consultant and will be under loss of pay until he is able to go back to work.

In these critical and trying times for Kamal and his family, we are raising this GoFundMe to support his out of pocket medical/rehab expenses and family expenses till he is able to get back to work.
