Help Kalven's son Kyle Beat Cancer

Kalven Lee is a beloved staff member at El Morro Elementary school. He has been in district for 15 years, 12 of the years were spent at the high school and the last 3 at El Morro.
Kyle Lee is Kalven's 13 year old son. Kyle is currently battling stage 4A Hodgkins-Lymphoma, which is a cancer that attacks the immune system. He is undergoing chemo therapy and radiation treatments at CHOC hospital. So far, Kyle has undergone four, twenty-one day cycles of treatments. He will begin his 2nd radiation treatment to try and get the cancer cells the chemo therapy doesn't get. The doctors have found lumps and cysts full of cancer cells in the neck, lung, spine, and hip bones.

The Lee family is on one income right now. Kyle's mother is taking care of him full time. While insurance has paid part of Kyle's medical expenses, there are ongoing copays, medications and treatment that are costly. If you are able and willing, the family would appreciate any monetary donation to help Kyle beat cancer.

Kyle finished his 7th grade year at Oxford Academy in Anaheim. He was one of 5 students selected from his elementary school to attend Oxford based on his high academic performance. Kyle did not start his 8th grade year due to his diagnosis. He enjoys reading (The Harry Potter series is his favorite), math, computers, and science. He enjoys eating sushi and Korean BBQ. He is also bilingual, being able to speak fluent Vietnamese and English.
