Hello, my name is Kalani Wright, and I’m currently a student at Kennesaw State University.

During my freshman year, I experienced a heartbreaking loss—my mother passed away on October 15, 2024. Coping with this tragedy required me to take a step back from school, and I made the difficult decision to withdraw so I could focus on healing.

I returned to KSU in the spring semester and successfully completed all of my classes. I had planned to continue my education in the upcoming fall semester, starting August 18, 2025. However, I was recently informed that because of my previous withdrawal, I am currently ineligible for financial aid.

To continue my education and move into my dorm by August 16, 2025, I need to pay a balance of $10,378. Without this payment, I risk losing my housing and being unable to attend school this year.

I’m reaching out in hopes of raising the necessary funds to cover this unexpected financial gap. Any amount of support would mean the world to me and bring me one step closer to continuing my education and building a better future.
