My name is Kaitlin, and I am asking for help as I work toward having weight loss surgery. I have struggled with my weight my whole life, and after trying everything I can to lose weight on my own, I found out that my insurance will not cover the surgery at all. That news was heartbreaking. This is not about appearance for me. It is about my health, my future, and my hope of living a longer, healthier life. I do not want my weight to keep putting my life at risk, and I am doing everything I can to take this step forward.
