Hey Everyone My Name Is Kah’Lana Marie Samone Lewis I’m 11 months Old And I Was Born With Holoprosencephaly❗️ I Wasn’t Supposed To Make It Past The First Twelve Hours But GOD Had A Plan For Me! I Spent My First 63 Days In A NICU Unit Here At Saint Francis Medical Center Then I Got To

Go Home With Mommy And Daddy But Only For 71 Days❗️We Was Supposed To Have A Follow Up 3 Weeks After My Release But All My Appointments Kept Getting Rescheduled Well Finally Today Mommy Took Me Back To Peoria Illinois To See The Cardiologist Doctor And And The Neurologist (Brain Doctors) And Mommy Told Them What She’s Been Noticing And We’ll This Is What We Found Out After Waiting And Getting Appts Rescheduled❗️My head Has Developed Three Times More bigger Then It Should At My Age And Also I Have Fluid Sitting On My Brain which is why my head is bigger❗️ That’s Not All Guys So Mommy And Daddy Thought I Just Been Fussy Like Most Babies Can Be But Ofc I Cried A Lil More Often Cause When People Thought I Was Excited Tensed Up Starring Off I Was Actually Going Through Seizures❗️ So i was Back Admitted To The Hospital Crib Getting Scans And MRI’s, And My Blood Drawn And If Ur Anything Like Me You Won’t Like Them Because I Dont Like Being Held Down And My Tendon In My Neck Only Allows Me To Turn My Head So Far Left Cause That Too Needs Physical Therapy❗️And We’ll We All Know Them Sharp Things Called Needles And IV’s Be Hurting Cause Me Being Premature When I Came Out Of Mommy At 3lbs Exactly I Have Lil Viens And Can Only Take The Smallest Needles❗️(They Still Hurt People) But One Thing I Know If You Know My Mommy❗️Some Know Her As Momma Lea Or Maybe Even WIFE As Daddy Calls Her, She Is A Type One Brittle Diabetic And Has Been Since She Was Twelve Has Went (Dka) More Times Then I Can Count And Also Suffers Kidney Disease And Has A Port In Her Heart And Only Runs Off One Kidney Just Like Me❗️ Sorry Forgot That Part In Beginning Plus I Have A Small Hole That’s Not Closed In My Heart Also Anyways Back To Mommy That’s Been Shot As Well And Lost Two Of My Other Siblings Before Me❗️ Yes I’m Not Only A Miracle Baby But Also What They Call A Rainbow Baby But We Are The Toughest Ladies Daddy Has Living At Home With Him So One Thing I Know For A Fact We Are Not Quitters And We Know Pain Cause Again I Forgot To Mention Before They Let Me Go Home They Had To Put A GTube Inside My Belly Cause I Wasn’t Able To Eat Enough Food So Mommy N Daddy Had To Prepare A Machine That Would Pump The Right ML/OZ Of Formula So I Could Eat And Stay Alive..❗️ And Did You Guys Also Know Why Daddy Had To Drive Bk N Fourth For Work Mommy Was By My Side Every Single Day And My GiGi Mindy Stayed When Daddy Had To Work With Mommy So She Would Rest Cause Mommy Did Not Leave My Side Unless I Had Supervison For The Time Being❗️But Hey That’s Just Some Of Life But One Thing I Would Love To Ask Everyone Is Say A Prayer For Me, Mommy And Daddy Cause Everyone Knows Who Really Believes, That Man Above In The Sky, The One You Should Pray And Praise To Everyday And Everynight ❗️ I Call Him My Mighty GOD❗️ He Work In Miraculous Ways And Is GOOD ALL THE TIME. I Love Yall And GodBless Each An All Of You.. ( news from today 7/18/24! We talked to her brain specialist and we have a check up in one month and we will have to do another MRI. He came in and told us that she has more fluid than she does brain within the next 3 to 6 months, we will need to have a shunt put in and with that comes medicine, medical bills, medical equipment more doctors appointments, and more time dad has to take off work. We are reaching out for any and I’ll help, we are struggling in every kind of way. We don’t know which step to take. We don’t know which way to think we don’t know which way to look with GOD any and everything is possible he will make a way for us we are going through all of this for a reason HE CHOSE US TO BE HER PARENTS! But at this point an time we are trying to be heard and trying to survive as we walk along side our daughter taking care and catering to her and her needs as she needs us now more than ever! We are scared out of our minds and lost all at the same time! We are looking and reaching for any help we can get!) we also have cash app, Venmo and fb pay! We are currently still in Peoria children’s hospital if there’s anybody that wants to drop things off! Any and everything is appreciated! I just want to update we are now working on saving as much money as possible to get all her medical supplies her special needs chair n bath seat & mommy and daddy need help with that! There is a lot going on. It’s like we can’t get caught up once we think we do we always have set backs! It’s very hard rn any and everything is appreciated it all goes to the baby & her medical supplies and Gtube supplies!
