<div>I have been on this journey for 5 years, living my truth. I have been medically transitioning for 4 years with hormone replacement therapy and two surgical interventions during that time.

<div>Despite all of this, I still deal with gender dysphoria due to the way I am perceived in public because of features that correspond with my gender assigned at birth.

<div>While therapy, hormone therapy, and past procedures have assisted in navigating the world as a woman, <strong>I have determined that it is medically necessary to pursue brow reduction/chin reshaping and rhinoplasty with Dr. Bastidas and Dr. Reitzen with Northwell Health.</strong>

<div>I am fortunate enough to have been approved by my medical insurance, but even with approval, the medical bills will be around $3,000.
