Help Justin & Jacob get to Malaysia

This GoFundMe is here to support Jacob “Siga” Ordonez & Justin “Superboy” Ong-Nguyen, Muay Thai athletes selected to Team Canada to represent Muay Thai Canada at the IFMA Youth World Championships 2022 in Malaysia. This is an opportunity for the long-time teammates to showcase their skills and hard work on the international stage and become World Muay Thai Champions!

15 yr old Justin and 14 yr old Jacob have been training Muay Thai since 2014 and 2016, competing since the ages of 8 and 10 yrs of age. They’ve both been tested by high caliber fighters during their careers, working with the Adult Fight Team at Milton Muay Thai for more experience and more recently have been training two-a-days in preparation for this tournament. Although gaining popularity, Muay Thai in Canada is still severely underfunded, leaving the boys unable to receive grants, scholarships, and very limited sponsorship opportunities during their careers. Justin, Jacob, and their families have been paying their own way for local fight shows, tournaments, and international competitions for the last 6 years, and this time is no different.

Those within the Muay Thai Community understand how big of an opportunity this is for these boys. These two are dedicated, consistent athletes at Milton Muay Thai Boxing Academy and deserve this chance to compete on the world stage with hopes of one day competing in the Olympics.

With that being said, we need your help getting them there!

As you know, costs of travelling and other expenses have increased drastically, and any donations to help are appreciated to help these boys bring home GOLD!

Aside from training, they also teach, and mentor the younger generation by volunteering their time at the gym daily. With that being said, Milton Muay Thai Boxing Academy will definitely try and help out as much as possible if we don't make the required funds raised.
