Help Juice Freaks Open Their First Juice Bar!!

Well hello Juice Freaks family.

 

Jennifer and Devin here. We have some super exciting news. We just signed our lease to our first full service juice bar. Yipee!! Not only will we be serving up the juice, we will also be able to serve healthy light  bites, smoothies, super foods, elixirs and açaí bowls. We will be located in midtown and planning to open in the  Cypress / Katy area in the near future. Will we continue to vend at our local Farmers Markets? Heck yeah , we can't forget about were we started. Our farmers markets are our home. However we can only do so much at the markets and only for a short period of time. Although we have a little savings tucked away for this project, we underestimated how much this would really cost. We are raising money to help us get some of the things we need to operate. We've signed our lease and we’re  scheduled to open at the end of December. Sheesh, that's around the corner and coming up fast. We've come too far in to turn back now.
 
 Some of you might remember we tried to convert our vintage store into a grab and go juice bar. Then covid happened, and well you know the rest. Those plans changed real quick. Since our cute little vintage store was non essential, we were forced to close during the shut down. However, we still had to pay rent and took a some pretty big losses. Our dreams of opening our juice bar definitely came to a halt. But thankfully we still had our farmers market family. Our very loyal customers and community. This juice bar will allow us to serve you better. We have so many awesome plans for our community, local farmers and small businesses. We can not wait to share them with you all.

 

So let's talk about what we need and what we need it for. Here's a break down of the $30,000

 

Equipment, equipment, equipment.

4. Counter Top Bakery Display Case $1,099

5. A larger Commercial Juicer $20,000

 

Why  are these things so darn expensive? 

 

We would love to have a little extra for payroll. Devin and I really need some help, at least two employee's in the beginning. Being able to provide jobs for our community is one of our many dreams. Opportunity, education, encouragement and Community is what Juice Freaks is building. It truly is more than just juice.
