Help Jughandle go to Nationals!

Hello Jugfam!

It's now been long enough since Nationals that I'm caught up on my email inbox, and we're all able to put into words our sincere appreciation for all of you.

Nationals was an experience wholly different from another tournament, in (and I think I speak for the whole team here) the best way possible. Having the chance to break seed (by 3! #12 in the Nation!) and surprise the country felt pretty good. And we wouldn't have been able to do it without every single one of you.

Having our friends, family, and donors around us for JugLove dinner on Friday night was a great way to celebrate the community that helped get us there. We are especially grateful for all of our sideline support and significant others who helped keep us hydrated and fed all weekend.

Now for the boring part: Captain Jess Wolf (who you can see has been added to the campaign as the Beneficiary) will be withdrawing the funds to her account so we can do the reimburse-for-team-expenses and refund-what-we-can to those teammates who need the extra help. Thanks to everyone here, we were able to make sure the only personal expenses each person has are their individual flights!

We're very excited about all the possibilities this team has it front of it for next year. Keep an eye out for future Jug swag and goodies in the off-season as we start thinking about 2019.

12 years ago, Jughandle Ultimate was founded in Princeton, NJ. For 12 years, we traveled, matching up against better and better opponents, but always missing out on the highest level.

This year, Jughandle pushed the pace farther than we ever have. We did it for each other, for our past teammates, coaches, captains, friends, and family. Resting on the strong foundation of over a decade of Jughandle Ultimate, we built a team this year rooted in laughter, trust, equity, and having each other’s backs.

This year, Jughandle Ultimate gets to go to Nationals. For the first time in 12 years.

We can’t get to San Diego on joyfire, love, and a raging hunger for layout D’s alone. Nationals is an expensive tournament: Last minute flights, high player fees, lodging and transportation. It's unlike any other tournament, and for that reason, we need your help. We don't want cost to prevent anyone from enjoying this experience they have worked so hard for, or prohibit anyone from coming. It will only be possible with our community behind us.

Anything you can give makes a difference:

· A $20 donation covers 2 meals for a player.

· A $50 donation covers one lodging night for a player

· A $75 donation covers one player’s share of a rental car.

· A $104 donation covers the bid fee for one player and makes you an official sponsor of 1 Jughandle Ultimate player (with access to a private Facebook group to be part of the journey!)

· A $200 donation pays for one player’s one-way plane ticket to San Diego (with access to a private Facebook group to be part of the journey!)

· A $500 donation covers a round trip ticket for our coach, Judy Jarvis, and her motivational speeches (with access to a private Facebook group to be part of the journey!).
