We are Michael and Shannon Sosnowski, and we would like to take a moment to talk about our amazing mom, Judy Sosnowski
Michael: Mom was just diagnosed with aggressive, stage 3, breast cancer. This was just 2 weeks after I announced my engagement, and mom went from celebration to devastation. The wedding is scheduled for August 2019 and my mom is extremely determined to be there for the wedding (she owes me a dance). As long as I can remember my mom has been so excited to become a grandmother (her mom died at such a young age and she was never blessed to have met my sister Shannon). I honestly cannot picture having children without her here. She has always planned on being the best grandparent in the world and she wants to be there for every milestone in her growing family’s life.
Shannon: Learning that my mom has breast cancer is one of the hardest things I have ever had to deal with and one that I am still trying to process every day. Although this journey has not been easy and watching someone I love struggle through treatments is hard, we are continuing to keep positive thoughts. My mom is one of the strongest people I know and she is giving her all to battle breast cancer.
Now it being 2018 and healthcare being what it is, our family is not only in a difficult health and emotional state, but finances are going to quickly become an issue. Our family has a high deductible plan and in these hard times anything you can do to help make them a little easier is appreciated. Please take the time to give from your heart and help our family relieve some of the financial stress so that Judy can focus her energy on fighting and beating this disease.
