Jared and Laura Campbell are currently living out a parent’s scariest nightmare. Their son, 10-month old Judson Henry Campbell, has been recently diagnosed with Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis, a type of incredibly rare disease that can damage tissue or cause lesions to form in one or more places in the body.
For the next year, this precious child will have to undergo chemo and others forms of extensive medical care.
His family is overwhelmed emotionally and financially, and are in need. Due to the extensive care required, as well as the suppression of Judson’s immune system, they’ll have to keep Judson separate from other children in an attempt to minimize the risk of infection or other illnesses. Because of this, daycare is not an option anymore. Either Jared and Laura will have to quit their job to stay at home with Judson and keep him as safe as possible while he undergoes treatment.
The Campbell family desperately needs prayers, as well as major financial assistance, to help cover the cost of chemo therapy and the soon-to-come stream of various medical bills.
