Help Jude get to Kenya

Hello my name is Jude and I am raising money to get to Kenya in May 2022. I am doing this in partnership with Derby County Community Trust, alongside African Adventures.

 

Rams in Kenya is an annual trip to improve life for children living in the slums of Nakuru, Kenya. Since 2012, over 300 volunteers have taken on the adventure, supporting their partner schools and helping their pupils to flourish. Facilitated by African Adventures, the trip hugely benefits the impoverished areas around Nakuru, in Kenya. We will work in five partner schools to improve sanitation, build new classrooms or facilities and increase safety measures. We will also support teaching and physical activity in the schools.

One currently fundraiser I will be looking to take part in is ‘the big sleep out’ on the street to support my fundraisers as well as local homeless charities too. Look out for more that I will be doing!

 

I need to fundraise in order to cover my flights, transfers, accommodation food, and the Kenyan school projects. There are also costs associated with receiving the correct travel and medical vaccinations, which will allow me access to the country.

 

My first payment of £465 is due by 01/12/21, with the remaining balance due in instalments by 01/02/21.

 

This is something I am very much looking forward to and any donations or support would be greatly appreciated and would go a long way to benefit those less fortunate.
