<div>I’m Carolina, my family and I live in Ohio and my little brother Juan Carlos, along with his family, have called Southern California their home for over 20 years. Recently, their lives were turned upside down by the <strong>Eaton Fire</strong>, which destroyed their neighborhood and left them with only the clothes they were wearing and a few personal

<div>items they could fit in their cars. <strong>They have lost everything, their home along with all of their possessions. It will take weeks or months before insurance compensates them for their loss. </strong>

<div><strong>Juan Carlos, Beth, Sirin, Auden, and Emerson are now facing the daunting task of rebuilding their lives from scratch.</strong> The Altadena home where my niece Emerson practiced soccer is now just a memory.

<div>We are reaching out to you for support. Any amount you can give will help them find a new place to live, return to school, and create a semblance of normalcy again. This situation is overwhelming for them and our family here in Ohio believe this is the best way to support them and hope this message reaches those who can help, whether you know Juan Carlos and his family personally or not.
