Help Joyce Walk
Donation protected
Hi. My name is Joyce Shelton. I am raising money to treat neuropathy. I am a 74 year old woman with very low fixed income ($17,000 per year.) When I was 4 years old I had polio. With much effort and determination I have been able to walk fairly well for most of my life. But for the last 5 years it has been getting more difficult for me to walk. I started using a cane and for the last year I have been using a walker because my balance is getting so bad. I have been diagnosed with neuropathy in both feet with 75% sensory nerve loss. If not treated, it will only get worse. I have started a one year treatment plan that has a 94% success rate where the neuropathy is completely healed. The total cost for the one year plan is $8000. With a minimal payment I have started weekly visits to the doctor where they do 5 different treatments. When I can pay more I can purchase 2 of the equipments used and do the treatments twice a day at home. That would speed up the healing process immensely. That would make it possible for me to walk much better and to be able to walk without a walker. Since my income is so low, it is impossible for me to come up with the $8000. A friend of mine suggested that I start a GoFundMe account. So I thought I would give it a try. If you could help out with any amount I would be most thankful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
